Portraying the legendary Melina Mercouri, Weber commissioned Lazou to meticulously recreate the iconic red dress Mercouri wore during her historic campaign for the return of the Marbles.
Drawing from archival photographs, Lazou not only delivered a historically resonant garment but also served as a stylistic consultant for the play’s props and stage design. The production saw great success at performances in Bern and Zurich in 2022 and 2023.
